Danielle P. West-Chuhta

Danielle practices general civil litigation in a variety of areas of law, including but not limited to municipal and land use law, probate litigation and collections.

Danielle graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.A. in Political Science in 2000. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law in 2003, where she was managing editor of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal. Prior to joining Bergen & Parkinson, Danielle clerked for Justices Carl O. Bradford, G. Arthur Brennan, and Roland A. Cole of the Maine Superior Court.

Danielle is licensed to practice in Maine and Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Maine State and York County Bar Associations, and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.

Danielle is an active member of the State University of New York at Oswego’s alumni association, as well as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine. Danielle also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Heartwood College of Art in Kennebunk, Maine.

Danielle resides in Portland with her husband Dan and son Jacob.
