Milda A. Castner

Milda Castner has been practicing law in Maine since 1983. Milda was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware.

Milda graduated from Mount Holyoke College, magna cum laude, in 1978, with a double major in Latin and Greek. She obtained her J.D. from Cornell Law School. Her emphasis is in estate planning, probate administration and contested probate matters, elder law and municipal law. She frequently appears before community groups to discuss probate and estate planning issues.

Milda has served on numerous town committees, including the Arundel Planning Board (Chair) and Comprehensive Plan rewrite committees, and is a present or past board member of the Kennebunk Land Trust, the United Way of York County, Maine Conference, United Church of Christ, and Equest Therapeutic Riding Center. In addition to being a member of the York County, Maine State and American Bar Associations, she previously served on the Probate Rules committee, a position appointed by the Maine Supreme Court.
