Christian L. Barner

Christian Barner has been practicing law in Southern Maine since 1990. Concentrating in the areas of estate planning and probate, including the preparation and administration of credit shelter trusts, insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and family limited partnerships, Christian's practice has also included successfully arguing cases before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court as well as serving as Town Counsel for several local municipalities.

A 1982 graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and a 1986 graduate of Colby College, Christian earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1990.

He is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council, the Regional Organization of Municipal Attorneys, a past officer and director of the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce, River Tree Arts and the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library in Kennebunkport.

Christian is a member of the York County and Maine State Bar Associations.
